Alex London is a visionary creative director, consultant, and mixed-media designer who transforms brand narratives into immersive, emotionally resonant experiences. As the founder of Corvus + Crux, a fashion and design house based in New York City and Philadelphia, Alex is known for a unique and captivating aesthetic that pushes the boundaries of art, fashion, and advertising.

With a practice rooted in experimentation and conceptual storytelling, Alex moves seamlessly between art direction, fashion design, brand identity, and visual strategy—helping cultural institutions, musicians, and brands bring their visions to life.

Alex’s design journey includes a significant role as a costume designer for the Whitney Museum of American Art, where he reimagined Edward Hopper’s Soir Bleu for the museum’s Biennial celebration. Collaborating with artist Tillie the Clown, Alex embraced the queer themes of Hopper’s work, employing meticulous pleating and hand-dyeing techniques on silk to transform the textile into something swirling and sculptural—mirroring Hopper’s brushstrokes and immersing viewers in a surreal, painterly environment.

Alex was also invited to contribute to the revival of Andre Heller's Luna Luna, a traveling art amusement park originally launched in 1987 featuring iconic artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, David Hockney, Roy Lichtenstein, Salvador Dalí, and Keith Haring. For its NYC chapter, Alex designed and constructed a mirrored silver and electric blue costume for another appearance with longtime collaborator Tillie the Clown. The piece paid tribute to early filmmaker Georges Méliès and the visionary spirit of French surrealism—fusing futuristic textures with silhouettes dating back to the 1500s. He also photographed the Tillie's interaction with the installations, shaping the visual storytelling from concept through execution.

In the music industry, Alex has partnered with artists such as Halsey & Law Roche—designing costumes for the album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power and its self-scripted art film, while leading a team of over 15 creatives. Additional celebrity collaborators include Tilda Swinton, Lil’ Kim, Pamela Anderson, Pussy Riot, Sandra Bernhard, Princess Nokia, Christian Siriano, Carmen Dell’Orefice, Charli Howard, Banks, Sofi Tukker, Garbage’s Shirley Manson, Lily Allen, Christina Ricci, Raja Gemini, Alex Borstein, and Taylor Momsen.

As a creative director, Alex brings a sharp eye and strategic mindset to everything from photography production to campaign development. While at Taylor Horne Studios, he led visual narratives across fashion films, editorial, advertising, and brand launches, ensuring every project resonated with both creative intention and commercial impact.

His work has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Rolling Stone, and beyond—reflecting an ability to blend high-concept artistry with cultural fluency and modern media.

Whether developing an immersive fashion collection, crafting a visual strategy for a brand launch, or consulting on creative direction, Alex London brings a rare mix of imagination, depth, and executional rigor to every collaboration.
